How early in the wedding-planning should I book you as wedding photographer?
The timing of booking a wedding photographer will depend on several factors like time of year you’re getting married. for example in my area Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita and Nuevo Vallarta bussy times are from Octuber to frebruary especially on weekeends holidays, or on another popular date.
For bussy time i would recomend 8-15 months in advance for off season 3-6 months is ok.
What should I look for in a wedding photographer?
I tell brides and grooms that first thing to look for your wedding photographer is personality.
I always try to know my couples in advance so i kind let them know me. if you don like me should not hire me because you should be very confy with your photographer.
Second thing to look for in a wedding photographer is when looking at our work.
Make sure that you really like with it. Every photographer has its own vision, try to envision yourself in the pictures.
Finally price. The photographer you choose should be within your budget, otherwise you might be wasting your time meeting with them. However, some brides underestimate the cost of photography at first, and have to make adjustments once they see what it costs.
However, in the end, price is a component of the decision, but it should not be the main factor. If you find someone who really fits the above, but is $1,000 more than you budgeted, maybe you can cut back on other things. After all, the photography lasts forever.
What kind of camera equipment will be used?
We use Nikon and Canon professional cameras with backups of everything just in case there is a malfunction. We know there are second chance to shoots at weddings.
Who will actually be taking the photos at our wedding?
For all weddings, ill will be the primary photographer (Joel Avdel) and there may be one other photographer/assistant to help out depending of logistics and package selection.
The only times will be when i have a date booked i will asing an asociated photographer but i will let you know before you sign up the contract.
Can I print my own pictures?
Yes by all means, you own “home use rights” to your images which means that you can do pretty much anything you want with them as long as it doesn’t generate any income for yourself or the people you give them to.

How do i work and behave on the wedding?
First of all no wedding is the same i like to listen my customers ideas and wishes before the wedding and make it happen if possible.
Overall ill do my my best to work professionaly, im tranquil and easy going personality, flexible.

Are there any “hidden” costs in your wedding packages?
No way! Our photographic services are offered to provide completed the job with excellent results. I don like when I’m buying something and the deal keeps changing. I make every effort to NOT do that in my own business. I quote you one price for my services including travel expenses.
You may want to upgrade your package after seeing the pictures but this up to you.
The only possible changes might be things like if your hotel charges you to bring in an outsider photographer, or if there is some type of special work visa required by the country you are getting married in (like the Bahamas), or perhaps if your site is located far away from any major cities and it requires unusually expensive travel arrangements.
